ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - Friday November 3rd - Toronto Q Whitehorse (Yukon), Canada
We depart Toronto at 11am and arrive in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory in the early afternoon.  Welcome to the first stop on our World Tour.  After checking into the Westmark Hotel, there will be lots of time to rest and acquaint yourself with your surroundings.  Later in the afternoon we will gather for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.  Here you will be formally introduced to your tour leaders and aircraft crew before sitting down to our first gourmet dinner.  This evening you can enjoy the amenities of the hotel at your leisure.  (In-Flight-Lunch & Special Dinner Included - Overnight in Whitehorse)

DAY 2 - Saturday November 4th - Whitehorse Q Trans-Pacific Flight
This morning we depart on our private aircraft for Osaka, Japan.  On the way we cross the International Date Line and lose a day which we slowly make up as we head west around the globe.  A quick fuel stop will be made along the way.

DAY 3 - Sunday November 5th - Osaka / Kyoto, Japan
The 5 Star Kyoto Tokyu Hotel will be our base for sightseeing and excursions during our stay in Japan.  We have an early afternoon arrival (local time), the rest of the day will be at leisure in order to adjust to the time zone change.  This evening we will enjoy dinner together at the hotel.

DAY 4 - Monday November 6th - Kyoto
After breakfast this morning we will depart on a sightseeing tour of Kyoto visiting Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple, Sanjyusangendo Temple and Heian Shrine.  We'll stop at a local restaurant foe a Japanese-style lunch before continuing on to see the Ancient City.  At the end of the day we'll enjoy a Western-style dinner in the revolving restaurant Top of Kyoto.  Afterwards we'll return to the hotel.  Our evening will be at leisure.

DAY 5 - Tuesday November 7th - Kyoto
Today we will venture back into history with a visit to Nara - the nation's capital between 710 and 784, and the cradle of arts, crafts, literature and industries.  Buddhism first flourished here under the strong patronage of Emperors who reigned at Nara.  Nara Park is popularly known a Deer Park as nearly 1,050 tame deer roam here.  At the Todaiji Temple you will wonder at Daibutsu, the world's largest bronze statue of Buddha.  The main edifice which houses the statue is also the world's largest wooden structure.  We will have a Western-style lunch at a local restaurant while sightseeing and this evening we'll transfer to a Japanese restaurant for a Shabu Shabu dinner with a Maiko or Geisha dance and a Japanese drum performance.

DAY 6 - Wednesday November 8th - Kyoto / Osaka Q Hong Kong, China
Hong Kong!  The name alone sets the mind alight with visions of pirates and traders, of mystery and treasures won an lost.  Countless words have been written about Hong Kong, the city, her people of present and past who have sought their fortunes.  A Chinese junk on the harbour, the Taipan in his Rolls Royce, the Chinese shipping magnate, the tailored suite, all are visions which can become reality for the modern sightseeing.  This small territory has a magic and fascination that attracts visitors from all over the world and entices them to return again and again.  After our mid-afternoon arrival, we will be met and transferred to the 5 star Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hotel.  Around sunset we will transfer to the Peak Tram station for an exciting funicular railway ascent to the top of Victoria Peak.  We'll enjoy cocktails and dinner at Café Deco, which with it's seamless glass wall commands spectacular views of glittering Hong Kong.  A jazz band will perform during dinner.

DAY 7 - Thursday November 9th - Hong Kong
Today we start with a ride on the famous Star ferry across the bay to Hong Kong Island.  We'll continue by coach to Stanley Market (shopping) and continue through Repulse Bay enroute to Aberdeen Fishing Village to get a close-up view of this floating community.  We will have a Dim Sum lunch at the Jumbo floating restaurant.  Afterwards we will return to the hotel for leisure time and to explore at will.

DAY 8 - Friday November 10th - Hong Kong Q Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
After breakfast we depart for the airport for our morning flight to Ho Chi Minh (formerly Saigon).  Upon arrival, we will be met and welcomed by young Vieynamese girls in traditional dress.  This afternoon we will have a city tour of China Town, the Binh Tay Market, the Thien Hau Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral and Dong Khoi Street, the most famous in Ho Chi Minh.  This evening we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Saigon River.

DAY 9 - Saturday November 11th - Ho Chi Minh
This morning we'll depart for the Mekong Delta by coach.  Once there we will have a boat trip to visit the Thoi Son Orchard Island to tast the fresh fruits of the season.  We'll also visit a farmer's house and enjoy a traditional music performance and see how the people make products and prepare food.  For lunch we will be treated Elephant Ear fish prepared by the area's best chef.  (Breakfast, Special Lunch & Dinner Included - Overnight in Ho Chi Minh)

DAY 10 - Sunday November 12th - Ho Chi Minh Q Siem Reap, Cambodia
Today we have a short flight of just over an hour to Siem Reap.  We'll have lunch and do a small circuit sightseeing tour ending up at Angkor Wat.  We will saty here to watch the sun set over this seventh wonder of the world.  Tonight we have dinner at our hotel.  (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included - Overnight in Siem Reap)

DAY 11 - Monday November 13th - Siem Reap
After breakfast this morning we will visit the south gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.  The balance of the day we'll have free to enjoy our hotel or to explore Siem Reap.  Dinner tonight will be held around the pool with Apsara dance entertainment.  (Breakfast, Lunch & Special Dinner Included - Overnight in Siem Reap)

DAY 12 - Tuesday November 14th - Siem Reap Q Delhi / Agra, India
This morning we depart South East Asia for Delhi.  Upon arrival we will be met, welcomed and transferred by luxury coach to Agra.  This evening we have a buffet dinner at our hotel.

DAY 13 - Wednesday November 15th - Agra / Delhi
Today we will sightsee Agra and another one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal.  This beautiful mausoleum was built of pure white marble by Emperor Shah Jehn in memory of his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal.  We'll also visit the Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River before returning to our hotel for lunch.  This afternoon we'll return to Delhi by coach for dinner.

DAY 14 - Thursday November 16th - Delhi
After breakfast we will depart by coach for a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting the Jamia Mosque (1650 A.D.) and the Red Fort (1639 A.D.) from the outside.  We'll also visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandi was cremated in 1948.  Tonight we will enjoy a special dinner.  (Breakfast, Lunch & Special Dinner Included - Overnight in Delhi)

DAY 15 - Friday November 17th - Delhi Q Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Today our capable crew will take us to Dubai.  Nestled between sand dunes and the shores of the Persian Gulf, Dubia is a city of beaches, markets and the only 7 star hotel in the world.  This evening we will have dinner aboard a Dhow while cruising on the Creek.

DAY 16 - Saturday November 18th - Dubai
Morning at leisure.  Later today we will experience the ever changing colours of the desert as we head through the dunes in 4-wheel-drive vehicles for a BBQ dinner and entertainment under the stars.  (Breakfast & Special Dinner Included - Overnight in Dubai)

DAY 17 - Sunday November 19th - Dubai
Today we will tour the sights of Dubai and visit the souks (markets) where you can find the wonders of aromatic spices and the beauty of hand-crafted gold through the labyrinth of narrow winding alleys.  In the spice souks you will find perfumes, incense, and delicious foods piled in sacks awaiting your attention.  At the end of the tour we will be taken to the famous City Centre shopping mall or if you wish, you may return to the hotel.  The balance of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 18 - Monday November 20th - Dubai Q Nairobi, Kenya
After breakfast we will continue our journey to Nairobi, Kenya.  During our 3 night stay here we will experience the best a safari can offer.  Tonight will be spent in our posh hotel in Nairobi.

DAY 19 - Tuesday November 21st - Nairobi / Masai Mara
Today we start our adventure into the Masai Mara - the extension of the Serengeti from Tanzania.  It's in the Mara that we will encounter the Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, not to mention the many other animals that inhabit the area such as giraffes, gazelle plus many species of birds.  Our accommodations will be at a comfortable well-equipped lodge in the heart of Mara.

DAY 20 - Wednesday November 22nd - Masai Mara
Today you can enjoy the amenities of the lodge and partake in morning and afternoon game drives.  The game drives are in six to eight seater vehicles with open roofs, perfect to stand and take pictures.  This evening you may want to watch the water hole to see the animals come up at night and drink.

DAY 21 - Thursday November 23rd - Masai Mara Q Nairobi Q Cairo, Egypt
After breakfast we will be taken to the local grass strip airport where we will be picked up by light aircraft that will take us back to Nairobi for our flight to Cairo.  Upon arrival in Cairo we will be met and transferred to our centrally located hotel.  We will enjoy dinner at the hotel and then an evening at leisure.  (Breakfast, In-Flight-Lunch & Dinner Included - Overnight in Cairo)

DAY 22 - Friday November 24th - Cairo
Around the famous Pyramids and the Sphinx lies a city of ancient charm and modern beauty.  Built around the Nile where feluccas still sail, a sandy city where unemployment has been partly overcome by three people doing one person's job.  The streets filled with camels, Marcedes, beggars and businessmen.  We will tour this city spending time in the famous Egyptian Museum reliving the past.  We'll visit the Pyramids (one of the seven wonders) and see the majesty of the Sphinx.  Lunch will be at the Sakkara Country Club.  This evening we will transfer to the pier to board the Golden Pharaoh for a dinner cruise along the Nile.  (Breakfast, Special Lunch & Special Dinner Included - Overnight in Cairo)

DAY 23 - Saturday November 25th - Cairo Q Prague, Czech Republic
At noon we'll board our aircraft for our flight to Prague , the City of Spires.  We'll be met and transferred to our hotel.  The afternoon will be at your leisure to rest and freshen up before dinner at our hotel.  (Breakfast, In-Flight-Lunch & Dinner Included - Overnight in Prague)

DAY 24 - Sunday November 26th - Prague
Prague (also known as Praha) is said by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.  Architecturally, it is a revelation - no other European capital can present six hundred years of architecture so completely untouched by natural disaster or war.  Today we will explore the city sights such as the National Theatre, Charles Bridge, Belvedere, Loreta, Prague Castle, Royal Palace and St. Vitus Cathedral.  After dinner tonight, we'll attend a theatre performance.  (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included - Overnight in Prague)

DAY 25 - Monday November 27th - Prague
After breakfast we will have a walking tour of the old-town to see the Old Town Square, the Astronomic Clock, St. Nicholas Church and other sights.  Afternoon and evening at leisure to wine, dine and explore on your own.  (Breakfast Included - Overnight in Prague)

DAY 26 - Tuesday November 28th - Prague Q Reykjavik, Iceland
As with all our departures we like to get underway but not too early.  Our flight leaves at 11:00 am and by 1:50 pm (local) we will be in Iceland.  It will be cooler than we have been used to but not as cold as the country's name suggests.  We'll arrive in Keflavik and travel for 40 minutes to Rekjavik, the capital of Iceland.  On the way our guides will point out places of interest.  After our welcome dinner tonight at our hotel, we'll be treated to a performance of Christmas carols sung by a children's choir and a short presentation of Icelandic songs by a local classical singer accompanied by a pianist.  This will be a wonderful introduction to Icelandic heritage and culture.

DAY 27 - Wednesday November 29th - Reykjavik
This morning after a full breakfast at our hotel, we'll depart on the Golden Circle Tour.  During this tour we'll stop for lunch at the Geyser Hotel with a view over the thermal area and gushing geysers.  Our tour will also include a stop at Hveragerdi Village where the main industry is growing plants and vegetables in greenhouses heated from boiling water from under ground.  We will see geysers that spurt water and steam 20 meters into the air, the Gullfoss Waterfall and the 200 meterwide Kerid Crater.  (Breakfast, Special Lunch & Special Dinner Included - Overnight in Reykjavik)

DAY 28 - Thursday November 30th - Reykjavik Q Toronto, Canada
Today we have a late departure.  After breakfast we are free until noon (shopping) before we board our coaches to Keflavik Airport.  En route we will stop at the Svartsengin geothermal area known as the Blue Lagoon.  Here boiling thermal water is pumped into a lake where it cools to about body temperature.  A bath house and spa have been built there and everyone will be given a towel and given an opportunity to experience floating around in the briny hot water.  Afterwards we will continue with a 15 minute drive to the airport where our aircraft and flight crew will be waiting to take us home.

We will have seen many wonders of the world, experienced cultures east and west, landscapes from deserts to jungles to snow covered terrain and made many new friends.

This year's World Tour features this specially configured Primaris Airlines Boeing 757.  The aircraft (normally configured three by three) has large comfortable leather seats configured two by two for ultimate comfort providing allowing each traveler with either a window or isle seat.
