Rita has a long list of experience. Before starting Destiny in
1999, she was employed as a tour planner for another tour
company for 3½ years. Her other previous positions (operations
manager for a temporary employment agency, assistant manager of
a men's clothing chain and circulation manager for a publishing
company) have provided Rita with the tools and experience
required to manage and run a successful tour business. Dealing
with people and providing value is what she loves most about her

Also known as Chief Cook &
Bottle Washer, John wears many hats for Destiny. His 9+
years experience in computer support, database programming and
web development has come in very handy with setting up and
maintaining our PC network, web site and email. Previous
to this, John was employed as a sales rep for a local IBM PC
dealership for 6 years and also ran his own live concert
production business back in the mid-80s. What John loves most
about the business is the challenge of creating new and exciting
tours, especially for our World Junior and minor hockey

Tracy joined Destiny Tours December of 2006 as our outside sales travel and tour consultant
covering the Southwestern Ontario region. She brings with her 15 years
of travel/tour planning and hosting. She has an honours degree in Travel and Tourism, is a Certified Travel Consultant and
an Accredited Cruise Consultant. Tracy's passion is travel and cruise planning on an individual or group basis and destination
weddings. Her pastime love is hockey and the love of the game as she has played and continues to be involved.

Norah joined Destiny Tours August of 2008 as an outside travel and tour consultant. She is based in London covering the
Southwestern Ontario Region. She brings with her 19 years of experience as a travel consultant.
She specializes in planning leisure, corporate, group and wedding travel. Norah's travels have taken her to 38 countries
covering 98 cities. She has travelled throughout the Caribbean, Hawaii, Canada, U.S.A., Europe, and New Zealand. Her
passion is to cruise to as many countries as she can. Her cruise destinations have taken her to the Caribbean Islands,
Alaska, Greek Islands, Bermuda, Europe, Central America, Panama Canal and Russia. She also has traveled by rail throughout

Ron's 18 years as a veteran linesman with the NHL provided
him with a wealth of travel experience throughout North America. Also known as
The Bear, Ron escorted his first trip for us to the
2004 World Junior Hockey Championship in Helsinki, Finland. Since then, he and wife Wendy have
escorted trips to the 2004 Memorial Cup in Kelowna, BC, 2005 World Junior Hockey
Championship in Grand Forks, ND, 2007 World Junior Hockey Championship in Sweden and the
2008 World Junior Hockey Championship in the Czech Republic. Ron and Wendy are strong
believers in giving back to the community. They have been running the Guelph Wish Fund
for Children for over 20 years. The fund grants wishes for terminally ill and severely
handicapped children in Guelph and South Wellington County. We feel privileged to have
people like Ron and Wendy onboard. |
